In November during Arts Week, Eilis O'Toole, a landscape painter, worked with our TY students creating on site sculptures down at the Grand Canal in response to Patrick Kavanagh's canal bank poems. This culminated in a collaborative water colour painting which will be part of the NAPD Creative Engagement exhibition held at IMMA next October.

Two of the groups entered Scratch projects into the Intermediate Technology competition and the third group entered their Mindfulness project into the Intermediate Science section of the competition.

In Computer Studies classes during Tech Week (18th - 22nd April) and at our Coderdojo@lunch club on Tuesday's, students had great fun exploring the Virtual Reality world afforded by Google Cardboard, while playing celery sticks and oranges to make music through a Makey, Makey!

The TY students, with the help of students from other years, have produced a beautiful magazine in both printed and digital format in recognition of the 1916 Centenary.
