At no point did the team ever give up! Making it to the Finals is a brilliant achievement and proved to be a great learning experience.

A phenomenal run by our under 15 girls saw us lose out to Na Pearsaigh in the semi-finals 34-18. Numerous absences due to injuries before and during the game was instrumental in an unfortunate conclusion to what had been a brilliant season. Following on from Stratford boys under-16 historic win in basketball, the first years and under 15's (second years) commenced their respective campaigns. The girls have kicked off in a blistering run of three consecutive and comprehensive wins needing only one victory from two games to clinch qualification to the last 16.

Yaaaayyyyyyyyyy! The U16's did it! In a most exhilarating and nail-biting final against John Scotus they won 27-26 in the dying seconds of the game. The whole school cheered the team on from the minute everyone arrived in school this morning to the homecoming 'parade of honour' when our boys got back to Stratford!
