Read more →Congratulations to Hazel Goddard (2023), who will be presented with the Centennial Award for being one of four who achieved the highest marks in Classical Studies in the Leaving Certificate Examination 2023. Congratulations also to her Classical Studies teacher Ms Delia Donohoe.
This month, the Fourth Years had an amazing TY trip to Berlin! On the morning of the 11th of March, we arrived at Dublin Airport at the early hour of 3 AM and embarked on a 2-hour plane ride to Berlin Airport.

As excitement builds for our upcoming trip to Rome this month, we are putting the spotlight on studying Classics in Stratford College.
From history, mythology and architecture to literature and philosophy it’s a truly interdisciplinary subject, offering students the chance to explore the ancient world and the many lessons it can teach us today.
A number of our students took part in the annual Holocaust Memorial Day commemoration in Dublin this weekend. Read more.

Congratulations to the 2nd Years who were presenting their Classics and History CBA1 (Classroom Based Assessments) to First Years in the school hall today.
Students listened, asked questions, evaluated what they heard and completed their feedback sheets.
In November the TY's planted yellow crocus bulbs as part of The Crocus Project run by HETI (Holocaust Education Ireland).
