A léithead de spórt agus craic a bhí ar siúl sa scoil i rith Seachtain na Gaeilge! Bhí imeachtaí ar siúl gach lá – Tráth na gCeist. Biongó, Comórtas Postaeir gan dearmad a dhéanamh ar an gCéilí Mór a tharla ar an gcúirt cispheile. Buíochas le Dia bhí an ghrian ag scaoilteadh na gcloch ar an lá sin agus ghlac gach duine idir muinteoirí agus daltaí páirt.

Stratford host díospóireachtaí Gael Linn

On Monday 21st November, Stratford hosted a díospóireachtaí Gael Linn. Visiting schools included St Mac Dara's Community College, Loreto Beaufort, St Dominics Ballyfermot and Pearse College.

Junior Cycle students visited the Omniplex Cinema in Rathmines to watch the Irish film "Róise and Frank".

Gael Linn Diospoireachtai - Craobh Reigiunach! Brilliant Senior debate & Juniors receive trophies

Tuesday, 1st March - our Junior and Senior Irish debaters competed in the Regional Finals in Sandymount. Not a win for the Juniors but very happy with our trophies! A brilliant Senior debate! Very close but pipped at the post.

All Ireland Linguistics Olympiad (AILO) 2022 - Stratford enter for the first time

For the first-time ever students from Stratford College participated in the All Ireland Linguistics Olympiad (AILO). On Thursday, 27th January our 5th Year students worked through some really tough linguistic, logic and language problems.

Junior and Senior Irish Debating teams make it to Regionals in Gael Linn Díospóireachtaí

Comhghairdeas! Last Wednesday 26th January our Senior and Junior Irish debaters performed brilliantly and both groups secured a spot in the next round of the Comórtas Díospóireachta an Phiarsaigh.

5th Years participate in All Ireland Linguistics Olympiad (AILO) workshop

5th Years took part in a All Ireland Linguistics Olympiad (AILO) workshop on Thursday morning, 18th November. Throughout January the 5th years will be practising figuring out these linguistic challenges using logic and problem solving strategies. There is a competition at the end of January which will be entered.
