Throughout the summer term all 3rd Year Computer Studies students participated in Trinity College's ERASMUS extenDT2 research project into Design Thinking with Emerging Digital Technologies. Through Design Thinking and using any of the three technology applications (ChoiCo, MaLT2, SorBET and nQuire for Students) - the 3rd years came up with games to help change the behaviour and understanding of people about Fast Fashion.

Ms O'Kelly has been waiting to hear this talk for some years now (!) and thanks to Ms Donohoe - Jonny Lynch - Lead UI (User Interface) Designer for Scopely Dublin visited Stratford on Tuesday, 21st May to explain in detail about UI design for video games.

Jewish Arts and Culture Ireland (JACI) delivered a varied and unique programme to TY students covering a range of artforms and aspects of culture including poetry, literature, language, oral history, music, visual art, and heritage.
Sixth year students, accompanied by Mr Fennell, Ms Caspi and Ms Dos Santos all went on a French/Art and Science trip to Paris from Sunday 12th to Tuesday 14th of February. The 6th Years have written this blog in French! Go to the 2022-2023 Web Gallery for lots more photos!

Art, Global Justice, Community Activism are intertwined in murals that explored themes such as Climate Action. The main mural - 'Rising tides' is in an open-art museum/classroom/teaching and learning space: a busy space where students move about in. The goal is to capture attention and trigger action.

Starting on Tuesday, 1st February with a trip to Rathmines Library to look at examples of children's books, the TY's then worked for five weeks with Ms. Talbot, Ms Mahon and illustrator/artist Adrienne Geoghegan. We had such an enjoyable time with her creating our own children's picture books.
