1st Year students compete in 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals
Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the YEA finals.
TY students win Intel Technology Award at SciFest@College, TUD Grangegorman
Congratulations to TY students - Alanna and Ciara - who won the Intel Technology Award for the Scratch coding project called "The Great Safety Adventure" at the SciFest@College competition in TUD Grangegorman on Friday, 8th May 2026.
Five 1st Year groups compete in YEA ECO Dens semi-finals in Airfield
Well done to the 1st Year Computer Studies class - five Scratch coding group projects were invited to compete in the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards ECO-Den semi-finals in Airfield Estate on Wednesday, 11th March.

Stratford at Stripe YSTE 2026 - 2 projects, 3 awards. 5th Years win Runner Up Group Award.
The whole of Stratford College and community are so proud of 5th Year students, Hao Wen and Ritvik, for winning one of the top four awards in this year's competition - the Runner Up Group Award. They also won the Institute of Physics Special Award. A big thank you to Dr Ryan for mentoring the 5th year students.
Major congratulations to TY students Callum and Sanket for getting a Highly Commended award for their FluxChess project in a very challenging category, mentored by Ms O'Kelly.
