On Tuesday 1st April 2025, 5th year English student, Joseph, was awarded a commendation for his poem at the Oide Wellread and National Write a Poem Ceremony at the Killeshen Hotel in Portlaoise.

Five 1st Year coding projects compete in semi-finals of 2025 Young Environmentalist Awards

Stratford was represented by five 1st year groups at the semi-finals of the 2025 Young Environmentalist Awards in Airfield Estate on Wednesday, 12th March.

BTYSTE 2025 - TY students win 2nd prize in Biological & Ecological Sciences, Intermediate, Group category

Major congratulations to Hao Wen, Ritvik and Noah who won 2nd prize in the Intermediate-Group-Biological & Ecological Sciences category at the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) 2025 Awards Ceremony on Friday 10th January 2025 with their K.E.V.I.N project and to 3rd year students Ciara and Callum for presenting their excellent BUZZ project to many interested organisations and well-known visitors!

5th Year student listed in Sunday Independent's Thirty Under Thirty youngest business trailblazers

Congratulations to Liam in 5th year for being listed in the Sunday Independent's 'Thirty under Thirty' list of Ireland's youngest business trailblazers on 8th December 2024. Liam co-founded Cartshare - an app for the Shopify e-commerce platform which is a simple button which allows shoppers to buy things with friends.

IFoRE 2024, Washington D.C. - 5th Year student gives oral presentation

Joseph in 5th Year participated in IFoRE from the 14th to the 17th of November 2024, the International Forum on Research Excellence, which took place in Washington, D.C. This is an annual celebration of scientific research and development where people from all around the world can share their ideas, learn new skills, and broaden their horizons.
