NEWS / 7 March 2025

Stratford will be represented by five 1st year groups at the semi-finals of the 2025 Young Environmentalist Awards in Airfield Estate on Wednesday, 12th March. Each group has coded a Scratch game aimed to heighten awareness about the UN Sustainable Development Goals.  They will be presenting their projects in Eco-Dens - think Dragons Den - to a panel of judges.

Best of luck to the following 1st years:

  • Tree Clicker: Greta, John and Gracie
  • Stop Plastic Pollution: Diana, Zhi Hang and Katie
  • Sustainable Threads: Rory, Hayley and Ruiqi
  • Save the trees: Anna, Jarlath and Abi
  • Save the shark: Thomas, Angelia and Robert

Well done to all the 1st years - there were 12 coding teams who entered the Young Environamentalist Awards with a Scratch game! That is a major achievement.
