On the 14th of April, the drama students performed “Burial at Thebes” by Seamus Heaney. For the past few months, we have been rehearsing the play with our incredible cast of talented actors and our amazing director/drama teacher Mr Barron, and it came out incredible.

As part of learning the Greek myth Narcissus and Echo, first years were given a Narcissus (daffodil) flower on Monday, 23rd March. They were asked to take a photo at the same time everyday.

The TYs have been really busy throughout March! Every Friday they've been going to the BLOC Climbing Centre near Tallaght, a number of students visit Orwell Lodge Nursing Home every Tuesday at lunch, a field trip to the Incinerator in Sandymount with Ms Skehan, completed a Kinia Paired Reading training morning, attended a Women in STEM talk when past-pupil Olivia Foley returned to Stratford and more! Plus the very cool TY 2025-2026 hoodies arrived - thanks Mr Eppel!

Transition Year students gave a presentation on the upcoming Jewish Holiday of Passover to the whole school on the last day of term, 27th March. On Thursday the 19th of March, 5th year Drama, Film and Theatre Studies (DFTS) students gained exclusive access to the set of Lenny Abrahamson’s (Room, Normal People, Conversations with Friends) new film set in Dublin’s Jewish community in the late 1970s.
