The 1st Year Computer Studies class have been set up into 8 teams and each team registered their Young Environmentalist project plan with ECO-UNESCO in mid-December. Each team has started to create their Scratch coding project highlighting an environmental issue of their choice based on the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals. On a cloudy Thursday morning (27th November), the 3rd years adventured into Rathfarnham’s Ely’s Arch to perform their own production of Shakespeare’s ‘Julius Caesar’ around 400 years after it was first staged. Following our study of the play, the 3rd years got to engage in some active learning and bring ancient Rome to us.

To mark the end of the Junior Cycle mock exams, on Thursday 6th February 3rd year students gathered in the hall for an exciting Squid Game-themed wellbeing event organised by the Senior Prefects. The atmosphere was filled with energy and laughter as students competed in a variety of team-building exercises designed to promote collaboration and fun.
