Stratford teachers participate in Erasmus+ TD3C research project

Researchers Dr Keith Johnston and Helena Ledermann from Trinity College Dublin/Learnovate provided the opening workshop on Thursday 6th November for the TD3C  (Teacher Digital Content Creation Competencies) Erasmus+ project which a number of teachers from Stratford College will be participating in over the coming months. 

Stratford invests in new computers throughout the school as part of Windows 11 upgrade

Over the summer of 2025 Stratford College replaced all its PC's with new Windows 11 PC's. This major investment is part of Stratford's Digital Learning Plan for teaching and learning, ICT infrastructure and planning for the future.

3rd Year Wellbeing Games: Celebrating End of Junior Cycle Mocks

To mark the end of the Junior Cycle mock exams, on Thursday 6th February 3rd year students gathered in the hall for an exciting Squid Game-themed wellbeing event organised by the Senior Prefects. The atmosphere was filled with energy and laughter as students competed in a variety of team-building exercises designed to promote collaboration and fun. 

1st Year Geography students visit River Dodder

The 1st Year Geography students walked along the River Dodder with Ms Skehan on Thursday, 6th February as part of their investigation of velocity and flood defence systems in place along the Dodder.

Juniors wow at Junior Winter Musical Concert

Students and teachers were treated to a fantastic Junior Winter Musical Concert during last class on Friday, 13th December! Singing, dancing and playing a fascinating array of musical instruments.

2nd Years make molecules in Science class

Second year students were making molecules in Science class with Dr McAdoo on Tuesday 8th October.

Stratford celebrates Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day, Tuesday 6th February, is being celebrated in Computer Studies classes this week. The theme is "Tech in our World".

Second Years present their Classics and History CBA's

Congratulations to the 2nd Years who were presenting their Classics and History CBA1 (Classroom Based Assessments) to First Years in the school hall today. 

Students listened, asked questions, evaluated what they heard and completed their feedback sheets.
