Senior Cycle students watch The Odyssey in Rathmines Omniplex cinema

Odyssey Film Stratford 4 Sept2026
NEWS / 4 September 2026

On Friday morning, 4th September, there was huge excitement as 4th, 5th and 6th year students gathered in the hall with their Form tutors to go watch the amazing film - The Odyssey, written and directed by Christopher Nolan - in the Rathmines Omniplex cinema. In the IMAX1 cinema to be precise!

Quite a few students and teachers had already seen the film, but most hadn't. Everyone agreed it was an incredible production which gets better the more times you watch it.

A massive thank-you to Ms Donohoe, Ms McGill and Ms Talbot for organising this most-powerful morning of learning Classical Studies!
