TY English students complete inaugural Toastmasters module

Well done to the Transition Year students who each received a Toastmasters Certificate in Public speaking in early May. This is the inaugural Toastmasters module in Stratford College.

Well done to the Transition Year students who completed the inaugural Toastmasters module in Stratford College. They were priviledged to have the kindly and learnered Brendan Haughton guide them through the art of public speaking.  In this shot Katie is acting as chairperson for their table topic speeches. Each student received a Toastmasters Certificate in Public Speaking at the end of this module.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
