Three groups of TY students competed at the SciFest@College level of the competition in the Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown on Wednesday, 4th May. Two of the groups entered Scratch projects into the Intermediate Technology competition through Computer Studies classes and the third group entered their Mindfulness project into the Intermediate Science section of the competition under the tutelage of Ms O'Sullivan and Ms McCarthy. Each of the groups had been selected in March at the School level of the competition to represent Stratford at the next level. Each of the groups put in a lot of work on their projects and learnt how communicate their work to the judges and passers-by.

The hall in ITB was full to capacity with Science projects from students from schools all over Leinster. Once the judging was over, students attended STEM talks about jobs and science research work that is required in the future. According to Jake Henry, one of the TY students who attended, he "never realised that students younger than him could make robots".  Truly a learning experience for all.
