This year's school walk was in aid of Greenpeace and was organised by the 5th Year LCVP students along with the TY students. It was held on Wednesday, 18th May. 2nd Year student, Ross Smith, writes an account of his day walking 10 km along the Wicklow Way.
This year I really enjoyed the school walk. It was a lot of fun. Last year I set a goal that I would not be at the back and this year I wasn't so I was very happy with myself. In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
