Stratford College students enjoyed a visit from Yanky Fachler.  Yankee gave a meaningful talk to students on the Holocaust, personal family stories about Kristallnacht and the Kindertransport.

Stratford students doing the 2025 Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge

Stratford's 2nd - 4th Year Computer Studies students and 5th Year Computer Science students are taking part in the Bebras Challenge which started on Monday, 10th November.

TYs are getting busier every week - a number of TYs organised and ran the Stand Up Week events, as well as all TYs getting their jobs for work experience sorted out. 

1st Year Science students complete the Egg Drop experiment

Dr Ryan and the 1st Years were making various containers to keep a raw egg from cracking when dropped from different heights on Monday 3rd November.

Zombie Labs in the Science Lab

Friday 31st October and the 1st year and 2Y students completed their zombie lab in science  to use their scientific skills of observation, data analysis and acid/base reactions to discover which of the 6 patients were human or zombies and even discover which zombie was patient zero. 

Colaiste Uisce, 2nd & 6th Year trip!

On the 22nd of October Stratford’s Second and Sixth years took an exciting trip to Coláiste Uisce in Co. Mayo.

Two Stratford projects invited to compete in 2026 Stripe Young Scientist and Techology Exhibition

Congratulations to the two groups - Hao Wen and Ritvik in 5th Year and Callum and Sanket in TY - who have been invited to compete in this year's Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition from 7th - 10th January 2026!
