On the morning of Sports Day, Thursday, 6th May, the Green Schools committee got the whole school to walk around the playing field holding four heavy books, to emulate what it is like to walk several miles for a bucket of water. This is one of the Action Days towards getting a Water Flag.

Stratford's Green Schools Committee are delighted to announce that 33 old classroom and computer lab computers are being donated to the charity, Camara Education, for recycling on Wednesday 4th November. Over the summer of 2015 Stratford invested in a whole new suite of computers for its classrooms and computer lab.

The Green Schools Committee feel it is catchier and will encourage students to think Green. The theme for this year's Awards Ceremony is to celebrate the Green Schools Committee award of a second Green Flag in May 2015.

A number of senior students from the Green Schools committee attended a ceremony in The Helix in DCU on Tuesday, 19th May to receive the second Green Flag for Energy. A huge amount of work was done by all the Green Schools committee to achieve this well-deserved flag.
