As part of the Green Schools Ambassador Program, Green Schools visited Stratford N.S. on Friday afternoon, 20th January to talk about Marine Litter. Oonagh Delargy describes in more detail what this involved.

On Friday 20th of January, we went to the Stratford National School to give a presentation to them on Marine Litter and the effects it has on the environment. We gave the presentation to the fourth, fifth and sixth class and it was a great success. We spoke to them on what marine litter is, micro beads, and the effect marine litter has on the environment. It was a really interesting day.

We had to present to the Primary School as part of the Green Schools Ambassador Program we are doing which requires us to spread information about a topic. We chose marine litter to give our presentation on.
