Thursday, 2nd March was World Book Day. Stratford students celebrated it by dressing up on the theme of "Where's Wally?" (and to also celebrate Purim). Dressing up was also a fund-raiser and €50 was raised for the Capuchin Homeless Day Centre. The annual book sale in aid of St. Michael's House was held by the TYs - just over €60 was raised. On Friday morning, 10th February, the 1st Year CSPE students and TY students celebrated the Chinese New Year. Ms. Kenny, Ms. Donohoe and Mr. Kearns organised an exhibition of calligraphy and music in the hall.

The February Book Club Choice is a mystery thriller written by Matt Dickinson - "North Face". It is the second book in a series. Students can borrow the book from the library.

Since the Autumn the TY Students and Mr Priestley have organised a number of lunchtime concerts for students. They have set up their own WordPress blog too. The next concert is planned for Tuesday, 21st February in the French room!
