In April 2016, students of second year set a series of goals for the forthcoming year and detailed how they intended to achieve them. These notes were sealed in a signed envelope to be opened in twelve months time.
As part of the goal-setting project, student watched a video from Roger Wright, a morbidly obese man who set out with a life changing goal to lose weight and run the Boston Marathon. His inspiration on this journey was his niece Julia and her fight with cystic fibrosis.
Considering the challenges that they face in achieving their goals, students wrote letters to Roger asking him questions across a range of topics. Roger replied to each letter and his responses were posted on his YouTube channel.
We would like to thank Roger for the time he took in responding to these questions. We wish Julia every success at Harvard. Well done.
