Hearty congratulations to the 1st Year Boys Basketball team who beat Kishoge by 24-17 to win their League Final on Tuesday, 4th May. The whole school was elated on hearing of their win!

Feedback from students through the Sports surveys undertaken earlier in the year, showed that a significant number of students wanted to do Yoga classes. This was duly organised by Ms Finnegan mid-way through the year and was extremely well attended and liked.

Dublin City University's Y-Path programme - encouraging everyone to take physical exercise regularly every day - explains the importance of body movement. Stratford's P.E. teacher, Ms Finnegan, has been working with the DCU Y-Path Sport Science Research Programme for the past 3 years.
