1st and 2nd Year Girls Basketball teams both beat Mount Carmel

Thursday, 19th January was a great day for Stratford College Junior Girls Basketball. Both the 1st Year and 2nd Year girls teams beat Mount Carmel with the exact same scorelines: 26-18!

The 1st and 2nd Year Girls Basketball teams went all out to win both their matches against Mount Carmel on Thursday, 19th January. Both teams won with the same scoreline ... 26 -18! Well done to both teams and to Ms Finnegan.

Stratford at Stripe YSTE 2026 - 2 projects, 3 awards. 5th Years win Runner Up Group Award!

What a Stripe Young Scientist and Technology 2026 experience for our two Stratford College groups competing in this year's competition! 

The whole of Stratford College and community are so, so proud of 5th Year students, Hao Wen and Ritvik, for winning one of the top four awards in this year's competition - the Runner Up Group Award. They also won the Institute of Physics Special Award. A big thank you to Dr Ryan for mentoring the 5th year students. Major congratulations to TY students Callum and Sanket for getting a Highly Commended award for their FluxChess project in a very challenging category, mentored by Ms O'Kelly.
