Two 5th Year students win award at SciFest National Finals 2020

Congratulations to Finn and Cian in 5th Year who won the "Berlin Long Night of Science" Award at the online SciFest National Finals on 21st November for their coding project called "Lost" which they started in TY. They won a three-day trip to Berlin in June 2021 to celebrate its Long Night of Science - when Berlin opens up its labs, libraries and musuems! How wonderful!

Three Senior Students to participate in an IBM course on Introduction to Quantum Computing with lectures from MIT, Boston and Cambridge University.

Congratulations to Zack Musumeci (6th Year), Mia Quirke (5th Year) and Josh Wynne (5th Year) who have been accepted onto an IBM course on Introduction to Quantum Computing with lectures from MIT, Boston and Oxford University.

Two 5th Year students to compete in SciFest National Finals 2020 with their coding project

Stratford College TY students (now in 5th year!) won three significant prizes at the online SciFest@College competition in the Intermediate Technology section, facilitated by TU Blanchardstown in May 2020. Two of these students have been selected to compete at the SciFest National Finals in November - a first for Stratford College!
