Stratford hosts its first ever online school assembly during the COVID-19 closures: We're All in This Together!

Monday morning the 30th of March 2020, during the age of COVID-19.

Instead of moving to the sounds of the bell announcing the start of the school day, Stratford staff and students move to their laptops at 8.55am, and login to our first ever Online Assembly. Ms Talbot explains in detail.

Stratford Student-Parent Charter: Findings from recent survey

Over the last few years while developing our Student Parent Charter here at Stratford we have hosted discussions on proposed legislation and worked with our Parents Association to conduct a survey on school communications.

6th Year Classics students enjoy a cuppa - virtually

Virtual cuppa's!! On Thursday, 27th March Ms Donohoe and her 6th Year Classics students rounded off their Classics class with some wellbeing time.

Ms Finnegan has created a padlet for Stratford students and staff to use during these closures. Padlet is an online virtual filing cabinet where Ms Finnegan shares workouts, challenges, different sports and wellbeing topics all in one place.

World Book Day celebrated alongside Purim

This year Stratford students and staff celebrated World Book Day on Tuesday, 10th March to coincide with Purim! Everyone was encouraged to dress up as their favourite fictional character.

Stratford College Classics students win both the Junior and Senior Young Classicist Award 2020

On the 10th March, all of the 1st years along with students participating in the competition headed to UCD with Ms. Caspi and Ms. Donohoe. This is the second year of the competition. There were 200 students attending the action packed day with 100 students participating in the competition.
