We welcomed our incoming First Years (2024) for a special visit and school orientation session today. With our current First Years on hand to guide and support, it was a fun filled few hours where everyone got to know each other, play games, meet teachers, learn about life in Stratford and find their way around their soon to be new school.

The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) is consulting on the Background Paper and Brief for Tranche 2 subjects. The consultation runs from the 8 April 2024 until the 17 May 2024.
In the past year, Stratford College introduced a Boys to Men (BTM) programme working specifically with male students on issues relating to masculinity and the transition from boy to man. It is designed and delivered by Michael Kelly along with assistance from the teaching staff. Read more.
Stratford students and staff dressed up brilliantly for Purim and World Book Day on Thursday, 28th March. This photo shows the students who won book prizes for their outstanding interpretations of literary and multi-media characters!

On Thursday the 21st of March, Stratford’s Student Council headed down to The High School to discuss various topics that affect students. After we walked down, we were greeted with a small tour of their gardens and their bee hives. We also saw their 'Bug Motel' and 'Sustainability Garden' and these inspired some future project ideas for Green Schools. After this, we were invited to their library to have a sit-down chat.

Thursday, 21st March at lunchtime in the English room and it was brimming with students reciting their own poetry at the Poetry Salon 2024! The English Department curated the body of poetry written by students. Special thanks to our Guest Adjudicator and award winning novelist, Ms. Rachel Donohue.
