Ms Finnegan received exciting news in mid-May to hear that Stratford College had been awarded the Pieta Amber Flag for promoting Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing. The awarding committee found that Stratford has shown great commitment in promoting positive mental health by encouraging teamwork and contributions from peers in all aspects of Stratford school life throughout 2024-2025.

As part of our Wellbeing Week, 1st, 2nd & 3rd year students took on the incredible challenge of Hell and Back Ireland’s toughest outdoor obstacle course. It was an amazing day filled with mud, laughter, and plenty of determination.

What a great start to Stratford's Wellbeing Week, than kicking off with our annual school walk. Students walked 12.7 km in glorious sunshine along the Dodder greenway, stopping off for lunch and to enjoy the sights.

Stratford Staff participated in a workshop as part of the national rollout in all schools of the BÍ Cineálta programme. The focus on this initiative of showing kindness and being kind to each other, underpins the procedures and supports school environments that foster empathy and understanding.

Tuesday, 11th February is Safer Internet Day. This year’s celebrations are based around the theme, “Prepare / Protect / Thrive: Navigating Algorithms and Influencers.”
