NEWS / 10 December 2025

This week in school we are marking Anti-Bullying Week alongside Mitzvah Week, with the shared theme “The Power to Do Good.” Throughout the week, students will take part in activities and discussions that promote kindness, respect, inclusion and positive action.

As part of this focus, we are delighted to share with you our new Bí Cineálta (Be Kind) Anti-Bullying Policy, which reflects our commitment to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive school environment for all students. Bí Cineálta is the national framework that supports schools in preventing and addressing bullying behaviour. You can read the policy here.

As a parent or carer, you are a vital piece of the puzzle in tackling bullying. You have a unique role to play in guiding and supporting your child through their school years.  When school and parent/guardian work together, students benefit most. Open communication, shared expectations and a united approach help ensure that concerns are addressed early and that every young person feels supported and heard.

Thank you for your support as we work together to empower our students and celebrate the power we all have to do good.  Ms. L. Finnegan, Wellbeing Coordinator
