As part of learning the Greek myth Narcissus and Echo, first years were given a Narcissus (daffodil) flower on Monday, 23rd March. They were asked to take a photo at the same time everyday.

The TYs have been really busy throughout March! Every Friday they've been going to the BLOC Climbing Centre near Tallaght, a number of students visit Orwell Lodge Nursing Home every Tuesday at lunch, a field trip to the Incinerator in Sandymount with Ms Skehan, completed a Kinia Paired Reading training morning, attended a Women in STEM talk when past-pupil Olivia Foley returned to Stratford and more! Plus the very cool TY 2025-2026 hoodies arrived - thanks Mr Eppel!

Transition Year students gave a presentation on the upcoming Jewish Holiday of Passover to the whole school on the last day of term, 27th March. Congratulations to our Stratford students - Angelia, Sachet, Zhi Hang and Ciara - who participated in the Dublin City Student Enterprise Final 2026 in the Mansion House on Monday 23rd March! Two of our students took home the Intermediate Runner Up for ZS Fans and Bookmarks.

On Tuesday 24th of March, our school football team played a friendly match against Greenhills Community College in Walkinstown. It was a good opportunity to experiment, as Emmet captained the team for the first time, while we tried out a new 5-3-2 formation, instead of the usual 5-4-1.

On Thursday the 19th of March, 5th year Drama, Film & Theatre Studies (DFTS) students gained exclusive access to the set of Lenny Abrahamson’s (Room, Normal People, Conversations with Friends) new film set in Dublin’s Jewish community in the late 1970s.

In Chinese culture, tea is an art form—a practice of mindfulness known as Gongfu Cha, which literally translates to "making tea with skill." Our students transformed the hall into a traditional tea house by hosting a Chinese tea party with food and drinks to sample and share.
We are immensely proud to share that our students, Hao Wen and Ritvik, having already achieved incredible success at the Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2026, taking home the title of the Runner Up Group Award are going to San Francisco!
Their hard work, dedication, and innovative thinking has truly paid off. As a testament to the quality of their work, Stripe has invited them on an exclusive trip to the Stripe offices in San Francisco this coming April.
