Stratford celebrates Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day, Tuesday 6th February, is being celebrated in Computer Studies classes this week. The theme is "Tech in our World".

School's Out! Winter Holidays December 2023

U16 Boys Basketball team win an exhilarating Cup Final!

Yaaaayyyyyyyyyy! The U16's did it! In a most exhilarating and nail-biting final against John Scotus they won 27-26 in the dying seconds of the game. The whole school cheered the team on from the minute everyone arrived in school this morning to the homecoming 'parade of honour' when our boys got back to Stratford!

TY's compete in SciFest@Schools with their coding projects

The TY's competed in the SciFest@Schools competition on Monday, 4th December showcasing their coding projects. From AI chatbots to saving the fishes, this year's coding projects (all through Scratch) showed how creative the TYs were with the variety of projects on show.

TYs bring fundraising money to Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross

On Thursday afternoon, 30th November Ms Finnegan and the TYs visited Our Lady's Hospice, in Harolds Cross with money collected from the Coffee Morning.

The HETI Crocus Project: TYs plant yellow crocus bulbs

In November the TY's planted yellow crocus bulbs as part of The Crocus Project run by HETI (Holocaust Education Ireland). 

Science Week - TY's go to National Botanic Gardens

To celebrate Science Week 2023 the TYs went to the National Botanic Gardens with Ms Tomlin, Dr Ryan and Mr Fennell.

Senior Cycle Geography field trip to Kippure

On Tuesday 14th November Ms Skehan and the senior cycle Geography students went to Kippure on their field trip. More specifically they went to Athdown Brook which is a tributary of the River Liffey

TY's go to Kippure on Geography-in-action day

The TY Geography students went to Kippure on Tuesday 14th November along with the senior Geography. The TYs got to enjoy a geography-in-action day.

Irish students debate in Gael Linn Díospóireachtaí Babhta 1

On Monday, 13th November Stratford was ably represented in the Gael Linn Díospóireachtaí Babhta 1 by our participating Irish students. Stratford's Junior and Senior teams debated against Sandford Park, Gonzaga College, Alexandra College.
