TYs and 6th Year Computer Science students participate in 'AI in my Life' workshop from DCU

Two recent DCU Data Scientist graduates from DCU's ADAPT research centre visited Stratford on Thursday 16th May to lead an interactive workshop with TYs and the 6th Year Computer Science students to explore Artificial Intelligence (AI) in our lives.

Topics included:

  • Learn about AI and how it works
  • Uncover some of the ethical and privacy implications of AI
  • Evaluate the role of AI in their lives and in society
  • Learn how to protect their digital privacy
  • Explore AI careers and related further study options

There were some very interesting discussions about the implications of AI on education, ethics and morals, as well as biases in machine learning.
