Visitors from the Revenue Commissioners presented a very informative talk to Senior students on Thursday 2nd May about registering with Revenue, emergency tax and making tax claims.

Well done to TY students Kaydi, Amelie and Bláithnáid who came 2nd in the Intermediate Technology category with their "Save the Fishes" game (coded in Scratch) to highlight this issue. Two TY groups competed at the SciFest@College competition in TU Dublin (Blanchardstown) on Wednesday 1st May.

What an achievement! Stratford had 11 students competing in the 2024 Bebras (Computational Thinking) National Finals in Maynooth University in two age categories: 12-14 and 14-16.

TY students Joseph and Liam won the Regeneron Special Award at BTYSTE 2024 which means they will be representing Ireland at the forthcoming Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Los Angeles in May!
Regeneron invited Stratford TY's, 5th Year Computer Science students and Stratford's 7 BTYSTE 2024 students to their manufacturing site in Limerick on Tuesday 9th April.

TY's have been learning to code in Python since January using pytch.org as the way to transition from Scratch to Python. Pytch is developed by Trinity College Dublin and TY's were invited to participate in a further research project where Pytch works with micro:bits.

This month, the Fourth Years had an amazing TY trip to Berlin! On the morning of the 11th of March, we arrived at Dublin Airport at the early hour of 3 AM and embarked on a 2-hour plane ride to Berlin Airport.

Two fantastic wins today, Wednesday 28th February, at the 2024 Dublin City Student Enterprise Awards! And Stratford also received a special e-Bay award - well done Mr Brilly, Mr O'Callaghan and Co.!
Congratulations to 1st Year Business students - Vihaan, Christian and Eli - who won 1st prize in the Junior Section. Congratulations also to TY Business students - Joseph and Liam - who won 2nd prize in the Senior Section.
