Stratford students and staff celebrate Purim by dressing up as Literary Heroes

This year Purim was celebrated on Thursday, 21st March. All students and staff were encouraged to dress up as their Literary Hero - there was great creativity to be spotted! The theme was decided between Student Council and the Library prefects.

Stratford students and teachers talk to Minister Richard Bruton TD at Schools Strike 4 Climate protest

Almost half the students of Stratford College marched to Dáil Éireann, along with some of their teachers on Friday, 15th March as part of the Strike 4 Climate Change protest. Walking from Rathgar, through Rathmines and then around St. Stephen's Stratford students made their voices heard with their banners, whistles and chants.

Many Stratford students will be participating in the Schools Strike 4 Climate protest outside Dáil Éireann on Friday, 15th March. Students will be leaving school at 12 noon to join other students from around the country.

Student Council organise Concern Fast and raise €1480

Student Council organised a sponsored Fast in aid of Concern on Friday, 14th December. Students were asked not to eat from 8.55am - 5pm. Students were also given a choice to fast from their phones instead if they couldn't fast from food.

Student achievements celebrated at Awards Ceremony

Student Council hosted the Awards Ceremony on Friday, 26th October. The Awards Ceremony celebrates the achievements of excellence by Stratford students in the Leaving Certificate and Junior Cycle, as well as leadership, sporting and extra-curricular activities during the school year 2017-2018.

The Herzog family visit Stratford Schools to celebrate the centenary anniversary of the birth of their Irish born father, Chaim Herzog

On Wednesday, 17th October 2018 the children of Chaim Herzog and their families, visited Belfast and Dublin to retrace the footsteps of their Irish born father.

Stratford joins Senior Social Innovation Action Programme

Students work in teams, explore social issues that concern them and develop and implement creative responses and solutions to social need. Learning is youth-led and value-based, infused with an understanding of human rights, ethics and how innovation contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
