NEWS / 4 September 2019

The review of Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) took place between June 2018 and March 2019. It was successful in gathering the views of a wide range of stakeholders, demonstrating the level of interest in this aspect of education. We are now engaging in consultation to ensure the findings and related draft advice is reflective of the needs of students, schools and parents.

The NCCA would like you to consider the findings and the draft advice contained in the draft Report and to submit your views.

You can find the draft Report here. You can find the summary of the draft Report here. Please submit your views via the online survey here. Or make a written submission using this template and emailing your response to RSEreview@ncca.ie.

The deadline for completing the survey or emailing a written submission is Friday 25th October 2019. After this phase of consultation is complete, a final report containing the advice for future directions will be completed and issued to the Minister for Education and Skills.

The NCCA wishes to thank the organisations, individuals and schools who have participated in the review to date.
