Four Stratford projects qualify for the BT Young Science and Technology Exhibition 2024!!! Watch this space!
This week, in Stratford College, Transition Year students have been helping to creatively celebrate Maths Week. To kick the week off, some of the TYs ran an obstacle course during PE classes for 1st and 2nd Years, involving maths questions at different parts of the course.

On Thursday, 5th October Mr Fennell, Dr Ryan and the 5th and 6th Year Physics students visited Dunsink Observatory in Castleknock as part of Space Week (4th - 10th October).

Hearty congratulations to 2nd year students Christopher, Ugo and Nino (12-14 years age category) and to 5th Year student Phoenix (16-18 years age category) who were invited to the Bebras Computational Thinking National Finals. Nino came 1st and Phoenix came 3rd in their respective categories. A phenomenal result!

The 5th Years ably hosted their Assembly on Tuesday 17th January. It was combined with a special BT Young Scientist & Technology Assembly where Ayush, Joseph and Liam spoke about their respective projects. Ayush explained the importance of his project in terms of breast cancer research and we now can see why he was awarded the Best Individual Project and Horizon Student Award for the overall best Biological & Ecological project at BTYSTE 2023. Liam and Joseph demonstrated their projects too and there was much interest! The finalists parents were invited to the assembly too.
