TY students Joseph and Liam won the Regeneron Special Award at BTYSTE 2024 which means they will be representing Ireland at the forthcoming Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Los Angeles in May!

Regeneron invited Stratford TY's, 5th Year Computer Science students and Stratford's 7 BTYSTE 2024 students to their manufacturing site in Limerick on Tuesday 9th April.

5th Year Computer science student, Kishaylin, said it was "very insightful to see how treatments and medicines are being manufactured". Kishaylin really liked seeing how technology is the backbone of the manufacturing process.

Sincere thanks to Regeneron, Nuala Carey and Vice President Process Sciences John Crowley for inviting us and making us feel so welcome!

See report in Silicon Republic about our visit! Watch "The Science Fair" on Disney+ to get a sense of what is ahead for Joseph and Liam. Enjoy! Photographs: Arthur Ellis Photography
