Stratford College acknowledges that today is International Holocaust Memorial Day and our thoughts are with our students, staff, their families, extended families and friends on this occasion. We remember all of the people who perished in the Holocaust, the millions of Jewish men, women and children and other victims who were persecuted by the Nazis because of their identity.

On Thursday, 23 January the TY girls and 1Y class participated in a Zoom call with Ava (3rd Year UCD Computer Science student) and Jenny (recently graduated from Trinity Engineering) during Computer Studies class.

Stratford Students had a great win yesterday for our girls basketball under 15's team with a record 54-6 win against Mount Anville. First year boys and Second years recorded two very strong wins also.

Major congratulations to Hao Wen, Ritvik and Noah who won 2nd prize in the Intermediate-Group-Biological & Ecological Sciences category at the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) 2025 Awards Ceremony on Friday 10th January with their K.E.V.I.N project and to 3rd year students Ciara and Callum for presenting their excellent BUZZ project to many interested organisations and well-known visitors!

We are delighted to announce the appointment of three new teachers for the upcoming academic term.
Ms. Walsh will be joining our staff to teach French and Geography. Ms. Masterson Power will be teaching Irish and History. Ms. Sosa-Dias, a highly experienced teacher in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, will be teaching Mathematics and providing valuable support to students who require additional assistance.
Congratulations to Omri and Paddy in Transition Year who reached the semi-finals of the Certified Irish Angus Schools competition on 9th January. The competition challenges students to rear five Irish Angus calves over 18 months while completing a research project.
