On Thursday, 23 January the TY girls and 1Y class participated in a Zoom call with Ava (3rd Year UCD Computer Science student) and Jenny (recently graduated from Trinity Engineering) during Computer Studies class.
Ms Maxwell and Ms O'Kelly interviewed them both - and by the way Jenny was calling from Central America where she is currently travelling for six months!) - asking them about who/what inspired them to do Computer Science and Engineering degrees; what are the challenges they face(d), what would you advise your 1st year self and what would you advise your TY self.
It was a fascinating hour and gave us all some really good insights. Thank you both Ava and Jenny for your time!

Stratford celebrated Wellbeing Week 2026 (5th - 8th May), a special week dedicated to promoting positive mental health, physical activity and cultural awareness. Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time
Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
