A group of Jewish students, with Rabbi Lent and Ms Caspi, visited London and Bournemouth over the weekend of 23rd - 26th February for a Shabbaton - a weekend of fun and inspiration. They climbed the 311 spiral step of the London Monument, went quad-biking and dry-skiing amongst many other activities. New friends were made.

Mr. Priestley and his 2nd Year French class are busy writing to their new penpals in a school in Pantin, just outside Paris. This collaboration will also involve setting up a blog and recording short videos introducing our schools in the language of penpals.

On 17th February 2017, the winning books in the Junior and Senior Category were announced at the Inaugural Great Reads Award hosted by The King's Hospital Library. Four Junior books and four Senior books were selected from a long list collated by librarians who are members of the Irish School Library Association. Students get to rate each book that they read. The Junior and Senior books getting the most votes - win! The school with the most student votes also win a prize.
