Our class collaborated with the lead planner for events at the barracks in Rathmines. She showed us a list of female artists to help inspire us to do an art piece for International Women's Day. We all made stuff in animation, paint, sculpture and photography. On the day we explained our pieces in front of different people contributing to our society as women, people working in the barracks and our families. We all enjoyed listening to each other speaking about our pieces and the local innovators in feminism.
