Save the date! Stratford celebrates - Féile 2022

On Wednesday 16th March Stratford College will host a special festival and celebration for students and staff in the school grounds. Based around the theme of "time to know ourselves again" the day long event will feature outdoor activities and treats that aim to inspire, challenge and engage.

Student Council members and the Green Schools committee take part in Leadership Training

Students from the various leadership positions throughout Stratford College, the Student Council and the Green Schools committee, participated in a virtual Leadership Skills training session on Tuesday 15th of February.

Mitzvah Week: Food voucher collection organised by Student Council for Focus Ireland

Throughout the last week of term, Student Council and Ms Kenny helped organise a food voucher collection for Focus Ireland as part of Mitzvah Week.

Transition Year with Student Council lead Concern's National Fast on 18th November

Transition Year students and Student Council lead the school to support Concern's National Fast on Thursday 18th November. Donations can be made online: fast-schools.concern.net/stratfordcollege.

Stratford supports Stand Up Awareness Week

Stand Up Awareness week was celebrated in Stratford from 15th - 19th November, finishing up on Friday, 19th in a wash of colour as students were allowed a non-uniform day to wear bright colours!

Awards Ceremony 2021 - online and most innovative!

This year's Awards Ceremony was again held online on Friday morning, 22nd October but with a mix of livestreaming from each classroom as rewards were announced! Ms Talbot and Student Council co-ordinated an incredible online production, involving filming, editing and producing many videos as each award was announced.

​Concern Fast 2021 - Global Citizenship Education

Hunger, poverty, inequality, and conflict threaten sustainability and world peace. As part of Global Citizenship Education and Stratford College's work in promoting a more just, fair, and sustainable world, students are engaging and learning about global issues, and taking action to address some of these issues.

Chasing Joy ebook! Enjoy the student competition entries

In January 2021, as Ireland bore the brunt of the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic and remote schooling was required for a second time, a competition was announced where Stratford students were encouraged to express themselves 'Chasing Joy!'. Now you can watch the eBook of the creative works submitted by students.
