Our first school production since Covid took place this week. “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculation”, directed by Ms. McGill, is a madcap attempt to recreate all 209 of the fairy tales of the Bothers Grimm in a wild fast-paced extravaganza.

Four TY teams competed in the SciFest@College competition hosted by TU Dublin (Blanchardstown) on Wednesday, 3rd May. Well done to Rachel, Jamie and Caoimhe who won two awards for their coding project called "Hidden Disabilities" - 1st in the Intermediate Technology category and a Regeneron special award for Life Sciences!

On the 27th of April, all of TY and Ms. Caspi headed on our annual Neoclassical walking tour of Dublin. Students were divided into teams a month in advance to research a specific building and act as guide on the day.

We celebrated National Poetry Day with readings from our 1st to 6th year students’ book of published poems. Congratulations to all who participated and to our winners in the poetry competition, judged by the award winning author Rachel Donohoe.

Congratulations to the 16 students who competed in the Ides of March Quiz on the 25th of April in Blackrock College at 7pm. This was the return of the quiz after Covid. The last quiz was in 2020. 62 teams entered and Stratford came a very impressive 6th and 7th in the competition!

As part of the launch of the Lives Illuminated Exhibition on Thursday, 30th March in the school hall, a number of TYs presented their Creative Responses to the 'Elders' and to the audience.

Doors Open at 7.30pm, show starts at 8pm.
Tickets: €5.00 each. On sale at breaktime all this week. Tickets must be purchased in advance as spaces are limited.
