Stratfords's Classics students excel in Ides of March quiz

NEWS / 26 April 2023

Congratulations to the 16 students who competed in the Ides of March Quiz on the 25th of April in Blackrock College at 7pm. This was the return of the quiz after Covid. The last quiz was in 2020. 62 teams entered and Stratford came a very impressive 6th and 7th in the competition!

There were teams from all over the country. The annual event is organised by the CAI-T (Classical Association of Ireland - Teachers). It consists of 8 rounds with 5 questions per round. This year was particularly exciting as the questions were based on both the new Junior and Senior cycle specifications for Classics.

A big thanks to all of the students for giving up their time, displaying such positive school spirit and a love of the subject.
