The 1st Year Computer Studies class have been set up into 8 teams and each team registered their Young Environmentalist project plan with ECO-UNESCO in mid-December. Each team has started to create their Scratch coding project highlighting an environmental issue of their choice based on the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Throughout the summer term all 3rd Year Computer Studies students participated in Trinity College's ERASMUS extenDT2 research project into Design Thinking with Emerging Digital Technologies. Through Design Thinking and using any of the three technology applications (ChoiCo, MaLT2, SorBET and nQuire for Students) - the 3rd years came up with games to help change the behaviour and understanding of people about Fast Fashion.
