On Tuesday, 29th April Classics students competed in the 2025 Young Classicist Awards, hosted by UCD. Students from 1st Year to 5th Year went to UCD with Ms McGill.

Incoming 1st Year 2025 students visited the College campus and met with current students who shared some intel on life at Stratford. The afternoon continued with sports in the glorious sunshine and every team was a winner.

20 students from Stratford College representing every year from 1st to 6th took part in the CAI-T annual Classics quiz. The quiz took place in Blackrock College on Tuesday 1st April. The hall was packed with 55 teams.

Stratford Basketball under 19's took on The High School in their annual challenge Shield Cup. This match was a high intensity stakes match as High School had won their Leinster regional under 19 cup final and Stratford boys had similar under 16 success. This derby game was hugely awaited with bated breath as to how Stratford could cope with a bigger team and a huge 20 man squad. The rivalry was intense and the High School were clear favourites.
Mr O'Callaghan has introduced an early basketball practice session for early risers! It starts at 8am to 8.50am and is open to everyone!
