In November, the TY students worked in a variety of organisations doing Community work. A number of the students have written about their experiences during the week.

Ms. McCarthy, Ms O'Sullivan and the TY students started work on the school biodiversity garden on Thursday, 22nd October. A lot of work needs to be done over the coming weeks to prepare the ground for spring bulbs and a number of fruit trees. TY student, Grace O'Dwyer, is also an active Comhairle na nÓg member and attended the AGM in Croke Park on Thursday, 22nd October. Comhairle na nÓg is comprised of 31 Youth Councils across the country, which give young people under the age of 18 a voice on local services and policies. Grace was actively involved in the AGM and explains her involvement.
