As a 4th year going in to do First Aid I hadn't a clue of what to do. First I thought it was only about small cuts etc, but when we did it we found out much more, for example how to do CPR. We had a talk on many things, including how to save people's lives in the right way.
Coming out of the First Aid after two days I feel very confident of trying to help people who are in danger. Now if I was a First Aider and I was the only one around while someone was having difficulty, I would have a fair idea of what to do to try save their lives. I think the men coming in from First Aid to teach 4th years is a great idea.
