Science students produce Slime

During Science classes at the end of October, 2nd - 6th Year Science students created their very-own Slime.

2nd & 6th Years Turas go dti an Ghaeltacht

The second and sixth years went to the Gaeltacht on the 21st of October for three days. We had sport and fun. We were in the water every day, We did body boarding and climbing, We were on the SUP, did archery, and had a ceilí that evening. The second and sixth years had classes and it helped to improve our Irish. We had an amazing time and enjoyed it loads.

Two Stratford projects qualify for BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2025!

Two Stratford projects have been invited to compete in the 2025 BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) which is on from 8th - 11th January in the RDS. We're very proud of this achievement in Stratford!

6th years performing Arthur Miller’s The Crucible

Featuring stellar performances from Lunna as Abigail, Elizabeth as Proctor, Finn as Reverend Parris, Séan as Danforth, Carrie as Hale, Tammy as Goody Proctor and special guest Adam as Mary Warren. 

Senior English students survive The Nightmare Realm!

With a loose link to the 6th years' Comparative play, Miller's The Crucible, The Nightmare Realm in Smithfield swallowed Ms McGill, Ms Talbot, the 6th years, and three 5th years whole on Wednesday night, 16th October. 

The Festival of Sukkot 2024

Transition Year students enjoy tutor time in the Sukkah with an explanation of the Festival of Sukkot.  Thanks to Ms. Maccaba for joining us. 

Stratford celebrate EU Codeweek 2024

Computer Studies students from 1st Year to 5th Year celebrated EU Codeweek (14th - 27th October) by exploring Hour of Code, Blockly games and Google Arts and Culture games.

Stratford College marks National Mental Health Day

On Wednesday, October the 10th students and staff marked National Mental Health Day, a significant occasion to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and well being.

Second year students were making molecules in Science class with Dr McAdoo on Tuesday 8th October.

TY students have great fun in Delphi

The TYs, accompanied by Ms Kenny and Ms Mahon, went to Delphi Adventure Centre from Monday 1st October to Wednesday 3rd October! Kayaking, making rafts, bog jumping and combat archery are only some of the activities that the TYs took part in during their stay in Delphi.
