2nd Year Trivia Night Quiz organised by the Parents Association

The Stratford College Parents Association organised another great Quiz Night for the 2nd Year parents, students, siblings, grandparents on Thursday evening, 2nd March!

Career’s Information Event – 8th March

In some exciting news, Stratford College’s Parents Association along with Guidance Counsellor Michael Culliney are hosting a Career’s Information event for 5th and 6th years on Wednesday evening 8th March 2023 at 7 pm in the school hall.

Stratford celebrates Safer Internet Day 2023

Tuesday, 7th February was Safer Internet Day and this year's theme is promoting respect and empathy online. This week in SPHE classes, Computer Studies classes and at form time students will be participating in discussions about different aspects of keeping safe on the internet. 

First Year Quiz Night a fantastic success!

Stratford Parents Association hosted a fantastic First Year Quiz Night on Thursday, 19th January. Parents, guardians, first years and siblings were all involved!

Stratford hosts 5th Year Assembly and special BT Young Scientist & Technology Assembly

The 5th Years ably hosted their Assembly on Tuesday 17th January. It was combined with a special BT Young Scientist & Technology Assembly where Ayush, Joseph and Liam spoke about their respective projects. Ayush explained the importance of his project in terms of breast cancer research and we now can see why he was awarded the Best Individual Project and Horizon Student Award for the overall best Biological & Ecological project at BTYSTE 2023. Liam and Joseph demonstrated their projects too and there was much interest! The finalists parents were invited to the assembly too.

Congratulations Ayush Tambde!! Best Individual Project 2023! And to our two 3rd Year Young Scientist Finalists!

Ayush Tambde, aged 17 and in sixth year in Stratford College won the prize for Best Individual, with his project, 'Analysis of single-cell proteomic data to understand the mechanisms of oncogenic transformation and how to control them'. 

Ayush also won the Horizon Student Award for the best overall Biological and Ecological project.

1st Year Family Quiz Night

Social Action Week 14 November 2022

Stratford College is celebrating Mitzvah Week from 14th November 2022. Students and staff are encouraged to donate to our two long-standing causes - Concern Worldwide and Focus Ireland.

Stratford College Open Day - Sunday, 18th September

Stratford College hosted hundreds of visitors to tour around the school and grounds on a glorious autumnal afternoon on Sunday, 18th September.
