Findings from our Wellbeing questionnaire and Student focus groups suggest that students find lack of sleep and overuse of Social Media are the main negative impactors on their Wellbeing.
This was no surprise given the last 3 years we have all been through, where during lockdowns we heavily relied on social media to stay connected. Working as a team with you, we want to empower our students to make more powerful decisions around their own wellbeing. Our new Wellbeing theme for next year is "Disconnect to Reconnect"
To understand the issues better we asked our parents to consider how they empower their child to be more responsible with their phone and social media usage AND to consider how they encourage their child to be prepared for school and learning each day.
Congratulations to our prize winners at our end of year assembly. Awards including attendance, student of the year and the Principal's Junior & Senior student award for this academic year.
