1st Year English students produce their own Stratford newsletters
Throughout September and October, Ms. Gordon's 1st Year English class were working industrially to create their own newsletters. Most of the work was done collaboratively and online using OneNote.

1st Year English Students work collaboratively online for their Bob Dylan project
Times are a changin' in the 1st Year English classroom with Ms Gordon. 1Y have spent the early weeks in November not only examining Bob Dylan's lyrics but are using their OneNote class notebook to collaborate online to capture their work.

New subject specifications for 1st Year Business and Science students starting in September 2016
1st Year students starting this September will be taught Business Studies and Science according to new Junior Cycle subject specifications. These new subject specifications are part of the current Junior Cycle curriculum reform. Links to these specifications are included in this blog.

According to the NCCA's Junior Cycle website, "the Framework for Junior Cycle is based on proposals that emerged from a process of discussion and consultation". In this blog there are a number of links to explore the documents and background research that have gone into creating the Junior Cycle framework. English students win Creative Schools Award
Stratford College were awarded a top prize at the National Creative School's Competition in The Ark on Tuesday, 31st May. They won the award for an advertising video they created as part of their 2nd Year English Media Studies module.
